Our Novice U9 team will be entering the second half of the season in a winning frame of mind after their successful showing in the Arnprior Tournament held Dec 9th to 11th. Our girls went through the round robin undefeated with 22 goals scored against only 4 allowed, although they were pushed hard for two-thirds of the last game against UOV, whom they would face again for the Gold. Their confidence at the celebratory team dinner at East Side Marios on Saturday night before the final was validated as they came out storming on Sunday morning. Keira Greig found the back of the net after only 45 seconds giving notice they were not going to be denied the gold they came to town for. The outcome was never in doubt as Kingston beat UOV 12-5 and came home with the Gold!
